Best Devon Wedding Photography 2023

Best Devon Wedding Photography 2023

What an amazing year 2023 was and here’s a look back at some of my favourite moments and best photographs as a wedding photographer in Devon and beyond.

2023 was another busy year and I loved each and every single wedding I was lucky enough to be a part of. I still feel super grateful that I can do something that I completely love after 16 years of being a wedding photographer. I really do put everything into my photography and business and feel super passionate still about this journey I’m still on.

The biggest thank you as always goes to all the completely amazing couples that had me as their wedding photographer in 2023 and trusted me to document their day. It really does mean everything to me and I absolutely loved being a part of your special day, so thank you.

I’m super lucky that all my couples are completely lovely, so kind, super relaxed, funny and totally trusting in what I’m there to do. I always feel a little sad when my journey comes to an end with you as I have got to know you all very well but hopefully will meet lots of you again at future weddings.

A big thank you to all the other suppliers out there who support me and value my photography, with a special thanks to all the venues that continue to recommend me and my photography, I really do appreciate it.

It was a super special year and I was lucky enough to travel to photograph weddings in some of the most beautiful locations. One of my highlights had to be a trip to the Highlands in Scotland and Loch Tay. The scenery was simply stunning with the most amazing late evening light in June. The Loch side setting for the wedding has to be one of the best I’ve ever seen and I loved my little swim in the refreshing Loch on the morning before. I also loved some of the epic parties I experienced this year, especially the one with a live festival band outside in the pouring rain where it properly went off! Devon is such an amazing place to live and I shot the majority of my weddings here with lots of trips to the beach and the sea, boat rides, adventures on Dartmoor, stunning venues and fields of wild flowers.

My absolute favourite thing to photograph at a wedding are the emotions I see and witness, capturing the feeling completely naturally, showing all the laughter, smiles, big hugs, nerves, tears and above all else love, that filled your wedding day. I also love an adventure and capturing beautiful land and seascapes showing off the location where you chose to get married.

Lastly, a huge thank you to all the couples that have me booked in for 2024, I can’t wait to meet, share and document your weddings in the coming year.

So Happy New Year all, I hope 2024 is a wonderful year for you all, let us all spread even more love and kindness over the coming year.

Here follow some of my favourites from the last year, I hope you enjoy looking through these…
