Best Wedding Photography 2018- Devon
Thanks so much for dropping by to see my best of 2018 wedding photography in Devon.
Firstly, I have to say a huge thank you to all of my couples who had me as their wedding photographer over the last year. It means everything to me that they trust me to capture and tell the story of their wedding day. It is such an honour and joy to witness, share and document all the moments that I have over the last 12 months, so thank you.
I still absolutely love photographing weddings after nearly 12 years of shooting them. Each wedding morning I’m still met with those familiar nerves and I still get an immense feeling of excitement and euphoria at every single wedding that I am lucky enough to photograph. It’s such a rewarding job for me and it’s lovely at this time of year to just stop for a moment and look back over the last year and all that’s been achieved.
I completely love the variety of weddings that I shoot and the couples that I meet. No two weddings are the same and I approach each and every wedding with new fresh eyes.
This year I’ve photographed couples in their 20’s right through to their 70s; a US fighter pilot; lots of brides returning to Devon where they grew up;Â Chinese pre-wedding shoots; couples eloping to Devon; a Navy Submarine Officer; couples who have a dodgem drive instead of a first dance; couples from Germany, Liechtenstein, USA, Hong Kong, Brazil, India, Malaysia, Finland, as well as England, Wales and Scotland.
The one thing all my couples have in common is how super relaxed they all are. They value photography and put their trust in me to capture their wedding day very naturally, telling their individual story.
I’d also like to say a big thank you to all the venues and suppliers that support and value my photography too, I really appreciate you all.
On a personal note, it’s been a crazy busy year too with a big house move and lots of building and renovation work. My office has moved from one room to another but it’s all been so worth it. Isabel, who is now 11 and Tomas 8, keep me on my toes of course too. And as always a big thank you to my wife, Alex, for all of her support and patience throughout the year.
I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and I wish you all a very happy and healthy new year ahead, filled with love, happiness and lots of fun.
Thank you again and here’s a look at a 100 favourites from the last year…
Thanks for looking through and making it this far, what a year 2018 has been…
