Best Wedding Photography 2019- Devon
Thanks so much for popping by to have a look at my best of wedding photography in Devon from last year. 2019 was another amazing year for me and it’s always wonderful to look back through all the weddings that I was so lucky to be a part of.
The biggest thank you as always goes to all the amazing couples that had me as their wedding photographer in 2019 and trusted me to document their day, it really does mean everything to me and I completely loved being a part of each and every single wedding. Also, a huge thank you to all the couples that have me booked in for 2020, I can’t wait to meet, share and document your weddings in the coming year.
Again this year has seen me photograph a complete range of different couples, from 20-year-olds right through to couples in the 70’s and everything in between. No two weddings are the same and I completely love the variety I see as a photographer. I was honoured this year to be the photographer for the Managing Director of Eden Hotels, Mark, who got married at Bovey Castle to the beautiful Mina. Again I’ve had lots of couples travel to Devon to get married; couples eloping; 3 Navy weddings; a Hong Kong couple; couples from Germany, USA, Poland, China, Netherlands and then lots of couples returning back to where they grew up, from London and the rest of the UK.
The one thing all my couples do have in common is that they are all completely lovely, kind and super relaxed.Ā They value photography and put their trust in me to capture their wedding day very naturally, telling their individual story.
I’m super happy and honoured in 2019 to win a few awards in the industry which is always wonderful and so rewarding. I received a couple of awards with Ninedots and then a This is Reportage Award for an image voted out of thousands of images from some of the best photographers in the world, with just 3% picking up an award. These awards are getting harder and harder to get so this was a real achievement for me. I was also asked this year to feature over on Shotkit which was really lovely too, where I was interviewed to discuss all the gear that I use along with how I became a wedding photographer.
Winning awards and being recognised within the industry is amazing but my most rewarding achievement over the year has again been receiving so much thanks and kind words from the couples who I’ve had the absolute pleasure to photograph. It means everything to me to provide all my couples with photographs that they love, capturing the story of their wedding and giving them memories that they can treasure for years to come.
A big thank you to all the other suppliers out there who support me and value my photography, especially all the venues that continue to recommend me and my photography, I really do appreciate it.
Lastly, the most loving thanks to my family, my wife Alex and 2 children Izzy and Tomas, who continue to support and love me and let me vanish most Saturdays during the summer which I know is always hard, so thank you.
I hope 2020 is an amazing year for you all.
Here follow some of my favourites from the last year, I really hope you enjoy looking through these…
