Exeter Wedding Photographer at Larkbeare House in Devon – Vicky & Ed
I absolutely loved being the photographer for Vicky and Ed’s wedding in Exeter, Devon at Larkbeare House. These two are so so amazing and it was a real pleasure to be able to share their wedding celebration with them.
The plan was to have a small intimate ceremony and official marriage with close family and friends on the Saturday, at Larkbeare House. Then on the Sunday, have a big party and celebration back at Vicky’s Mum’s house on the outskirts of Exeter with lots more guests in attendance. I was asked to cover both days and we were completely blessed with the weather on both during the late May bank holiday.
A beautiful ceremony on the Saturday was followed by the big party at the house on the following day and what a gorgeous house it is. A perfect back drop for the photographs with stunning views looking down towards the mouth of the River Exe at Exmouth. I remember chatting with one of the guests and him mentioning how many different shades of green you could see out across the fields, simply gorgeous.
There was so much love, happiness and emotion surrounding both days and by Ed’s own admission, he lost count of the number of times he cried himself. He made me go a little as well during his speech, as I got caught up in all the atmosphere of the occasion.
I still get a huge buzz every time I pick up my cameras. I feel so lucky and fortunate that I am able to do a job that I love and that couples trust me to do my thing and capture their day so naturally.
Vicky and Ed are the perfect couple, I love these guys, let’s have a little look at their day… (about 100 images so please be patient whilst it loads)
