Gurrow Point Wedding Photographer, Devon – Libby and Toby

Gurrow Point Wedding Photographer, Devon – Libby & Toby

To say I love photographing weddings at Gurrow Point is a slight understatement, this place has a wow factor, simply stunning views, sitting on the edge of the River Dart in Dittisham, Devon, just up the river from Dartmouth. If I were to celebrate my wedding again it would definitely have to be here!

Sun, sea, river, blue skies, trees, boats, stunning light and a beautiful couple- loved, loved, loved this wedding on Saturday and a perfect day in a very busy September which has seen some amazing weddings. I’ve been lucky to visit Clovelly, Dartington Hall, Horn of Plenty, Deer Park and then just have an intimate shoot left at Bovey Castle to finish the month off.

It’s really so important for me to click with my couples and I just love these two, both so happy, relaxed, kind and warm. We got on like a house on fire and would count them both as friends now. They married at St George’s Church in Dittisham before moving onto Gurrow Point to celebrate. Libby and Toby wanted a little walk around Dittisham to take in the views and grab some portraits of the two of them after the ceremony, whilst guests made their way to the reception. Not quite sure how we managed this, but somehow we found ourselves climbing into a boat to grab a ride back to the venue- the boat owners really didn’t think we were serious when we asked, but Libby and Toby were definitely up for a laugh and an experience that certainly made my day! I then found my way onto the roof of a Landrover for the group shot, seem to be developing a habit of different methods for group shot elevations these days, all good fun hey!

So enough of my talk, here’s a look at the beautiful Libby and Toby’s perfect day…
