Horn of Plenty Wedding Photographer, Devon- Vanessa and Seth

I always love my visits to the beautiful Horn of Plenty in Devon and this wedding was super special! Vanessa and Seth are a wonderful couple and very, very much in love. They contacted me from Madagascar last year where they both work and met on a Mercy Ship, a voluntary floating Hospital. They are very good people and make such an amazing couple.

We were blessed with a beautiful sunny September day and it was an absolute pleasure to be part of their wedding day. There were so many great moments- a very fun and emotional church ceremony (definitely the most relaxed priest I have ever met!); a fairytale horse and carriage ride; amazing speeches outside as the sun slowly sank away followed by the most beautiful sunset over the Tamar Valley to finish off the perfect day. My personal favourite moment though and a first for me, was when Seth cheered out as loudly as he could when Vanessa walked down the aisle. He just couldn’t hold in the pressure anymore, I can remember that feeling myself some years back. This definitely relaxed the moment with big laughs all around the church. Seth comes from the US originally meaning all his family had made the big trip over here to see him marry. Needless to say this was a very special and emotional day for everyone.

I always feel so lucky and fortunate that I am able to do a job that I love and that couples trust me to do my thing and capture their day naturally. Vanessa and Seth were both so relaxed and I’m really happy to show you some of my favourites from their day (they ended up with over 800!)
