I love photographing weddings at Deer Park Country House Hotel in Honiton, Devon and this one was very special. Sarah and Nick celebrated at Deer Park after a really beautiful ceremony at St Michael the Archangel Church in West Hill, near Exeter. They are such a lovely couple, so friendly, relaxed and happy, and so very much in love.

I’m very happy to be a preferred and recommended photographer for The Deer Park and know all the team and venue very well. It’s such a beautiful place and always a joy to photograph here.

My style of photography is all about capturing really natural images, encapsulating the feeling and telling the story of a couple’s wedding day. I also think it’s so important to give couples some really beautiful portraits of just the two of them. Again I will try and capture these very naturally showing real moments of joy, connection and emotion, whilst taking in the beautiful scenery.

During Sarah and Nick’s day, we had two little 20-minute walks around the lovely grounds at Deer Park, one of these after the meal, as the sun was starting to set, to capture some of that beautiful warm evening light.

I loved sharing the day with Sarah and Nick and all their family and friends, what a beautiful wedding and I wish them all the happiness in the world.
